07
Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies, tags and similar technologies that collect information automatically while you browse. We use them for three purposes: to remember your quote preferences (such as dates and vehicle type), to understand how the site is used so we can make it easier to use, and to measure the effectiveness of our ads. The last two are secondary purposes: you can turn them off and keep getting quotes and renting as usual.
These technologies collect browsing data: cookie identifiers, IP address (to estimate the city or country of the visit), device type, browser and operating system, pages visited, date and time, the site or ad you came from, and your interactions with the page (clicks, scrolling, cursor movement and the contact buttons you tap).
The third-party tools running on the site are listed below. Each company receives this data directly from your browser and also handles it under its own privacy policy:
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): we partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use the site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay, so we can improve the site and our advertising. It uses first-party and Microsoft cookies. Session replays are kept for 30 days and heatmaps for 9 months. Details in the Microsoft Privacy Statement: www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement
Microsoft Clarity protects what you type: it masks the content of form fields inside your browser, before sending it, and Microsoft receives only placeholder symbols instead.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): measures visits, pages viewed, where each visit comes from and the use of contact buttons (WhatsApp, phone, email and maps).
Google Ads (Google LLC): through conversion cookies, records when a visitor who arrived from one of our ads contacts us, and allows our ads to be shown to people who have already visited the site.
How to turn them off, at any time: block or delete cookies in your browser settings; turn on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, supported by Clarity; opt out of Clarity at optout.aboutads.info by selecting Microsoft; install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; and adjust Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. You can keep getting quotes and renting as usual even if you turn them off.
